The Collection

10,499 UNIQUE ETH LOGO MOSAICS

The Infinite Machine NFT Collection is a collaborative effort by 36 emerging artists mainly from countries where decentralization has a major impact on lives and finances, including Cuba, Argentina, Venezuela, Kenya, Bolivia and Chile. Each artist is creating 10 versions of the Ethereum logo, plus 1 piece representing their vision of Ethereum values, and an original frame. Each of those artworks are then divided in 4 quadrants, to be programmatically combined with each other to create 10,499 unique ETH logo mosaics.

MOVIE META TRAITS

About 70% of the collection’s NFTs will be randomly assigned with rewards associated with the movie. These “Movie Meta Traits,” include: giving NFT owners the option of appearing as an extra in the movie (or have their NFT appear in the movie), visiting the movie shooting, an invitation to the movie premiere, and being listed in the movie credits.

AIRDROPS

NFT holders will receive recurrent airdrops of movie related items. We expect future airdrops through the duration of the film production.

GAMIFICATION

Features to gamify the collection (for example, the ability to “fuse” tiles from the same artist etc.) will be released after the sale is completed.

Why NFTs?

NFTs shift the power in the art world from a minority to a majority, who can now capture greater value through their creations. NFts represent a way to bring concepts like “rarity”, through which the value of an art piece is usually appraised, into the digital-sphere.

As digital initiatives grow and shape our societies, crypto-art and NFTs position themselves as the democratization mechanism for an industry that has traditionally benefited gatekeepers and intermediaries, rather than creators and audiences.

Rarity Traits

  • Each of the 36 artists has delivered the following:

    > 1 Frame

    > 10 “Visions” (representations) of the Ethereum logo

    > 1 “Original” design depicting the values of Ethereum and decentralization

The above results in a total of; 36 Frames, 36 Originals, and 360 Visions.

All those files have been “split up” into 4 “tiles” each, and remixed through an algorithm, in 2 different levels; intra-artist, and general.

The result of the shuffle provides the following Collection structure and its subsequent rarity:

    > 796 NFTS, or 7.58%, include “Originals” 1/1 pieces, and ETH logo “Visions” which have not been mixed between artists

    > The rest, or 92.42%, result from the random recombination of all of the artists’ pieces

  • Movie meta traits relate directly to perks associated with the movie itself. This provides a multi-tiered system that aims to distribute the capacity to interact with the movie as broadly as possible.

    > “Extra:” 25 NFTs allow their holder to appear as an extra (or their NFTs to appear) in the background of one or several scenes in the movie in locations and scenes yet to be determined.

    >“Premiere:” 50 Holders of these NFTs will be invited to attend the official movie premiere on locations and dates yet to be determined. Tentative release date in end 2023 (note there may be more than 1 premiere in different parts of the world).

    > “Shooting:” 100 NFT holders will be invited to visit the movie shooting in one or several locations yet to be determined. Tentative shooting locations as of today include the USA, Spain and Switzerland.

    > “Credits:” 3,000 NFT holders will see their names appear in the movie credits. “Credits” are subdivided into three groups; Large, Medium and Small. Large will account for 500 NFT holder names to appear in larger font size, Medium will account for 1,000 NFT holder names to appear in medium font size (relative to the two other font sizes), and Small will account for 1,500 NFT holder names to appear in smaller font size.

Please note that “Large”, “Medium” and “Small” are preliminary approximations that will be put in relation to the overall graphic and visual designs related to the movie itself.

  • Given the almost overwhelming richness resulting from the combination of all the art provided, and the implied potential visual dispersion, the collection’s frames add an element of cohesion. Frames will provide a quick way to identify an NFT as part of The Infinite Machine Collection.

The Meta Frame is a plain white frame that has been split up into 4. It will be embedded in every single one of the NFTs via a random algorithmic combination.

The White Meta Frames will be combined with frames designed by the artists themselves.

These combinations of White frames and frames created by artists will be an additional rarity trait.
